• Smoking in females is associated with decreased fertility and increased risk of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy
• Loss of fertility and an earlier age of menopause
• Decreases IVF success by almost a factor of 2x
• Passive smoking i.e. exposure to high levels of other people’s smoke including partner’s, may have the same effect as smoking yourself
• Early information suggests Electronic Device Smoking may be just as harmful
• Effects of marijuana not yet established
