We finally have our family complete and it's all thanks to Dr Bernstein, Denyse and their staff at Donor Eggs Australia.   After many many years of trying to create a family, we were finally put it touch with Denyse.  Were we excited and scared on our drive up to Sydney to meet Denyse - yes we were, but we quickly fell in love with her and her enthusiasm the minute we met.  Her thoroughness in setting up plans, explaining everything and forever answering my many questions left me feeling as if I was and am in the greatest hands in the world...and I most definitely am!!  Her insight into how the programme fits together and works is extraordinary and her genuine excitement is contagious.  She has been a true blessing to us throughout this whole process and I am so glad that I met her.  She truly is an amazing lady!

Now to our trip to Athens.  "Oh my God" is all I can say.  What a surreal experience, but one that we were already preparing to undertake again on the plane trip back home if we had not been successful this time around.  All the information that Denyse provided to us, from hotel accommodation, to helpful hints about bringing in snacks and drinks into the clinic when we had appointments, to her detailed description of how the clinic worked etc was spot on!  As much as we were frightened to death flying halfway across the world and feeling totally and utterly lost, the encouragement we received from Denyse made our trip an exceptional experience!

The staff at the clinic in Athens were incredible.  I have never seen so much chaos, nor so many people in the one place in all my life, but somehow it worked brilliantly and ran so smoothly.   All the staff were fantastic and caring towards us and the fact that they all spoke English, no matter how much or little, was just a blessing and such a relief!!  It certainly is a different world over in Athens but our experience there was truly amazing.
And today, almost ten months later, we are planning our life ahead as a family with our beautiful twins, a baby girl and baby boy.  Our life is now so very complete.

We are forever grateful to all involved in the Donor Egg Australia Programme, the beautiful lady who gave us our most precious gift of all and everyone else who helped us achieve our life-long dream.   We haven't wiped the smiles off our faces and most probably never will!!!
